Before midnight is a sequel of before sunrise which was released in 1995 and before sunset that was released in 2004. This film was directed by Richard Linklater. It was also written by Richard Linklater, delpy and hawker. Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke play the starring roles in this film. Julie plays the role of Celine while Ethan plays the role of Jesse. The film also has Seamus Davey, Walter Lassally, charlotte prior, athina Rachel and Jennifer prior among others. The film was released to the public on June 14, 2013.

The first encounter was when they were in a train in before sunrise. Jesse and Celine met again in before sunset. Celine was in was in her native land. This movie comes to an end with their relationship being poised tantalizingly. It leaves the viewers with a question on whether the two will get back together or if Jesse will go back to his son and wife.

In before midnight, the film continues with jesses and Celine coming back in their forties. The couple came back as parents of twins. They raised their daughters in Paris. The family goes to Greece for their summer. Hank who is the son of Jesses gives s him a lot of thought by telling that his mother hates him so much. This gets Jesses thinking on whether he should go back to the US or stay with Celine.

Delpy and Hawke do their part so well that it is hard to know whether they are acting or not. They bring out a side that is not commonly known. In as much as they are made at each other, they still manage to be funny. Just like the other two, before midnight leaves you with questions on what will happen to the couples next.
