“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Movie Review

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is a sequence of “Hunger Games” and the scene of Katniss Everdeen stooping the a forest opens the movie. Katniss is played by Jennifer Lawrence. The costumes of the movie were designed by Trish Summerville.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is adapted from the Suzanne Collin’s written book. The movie is full of special effects and actions and new emerging actors played in the movie, such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Amanda Plummer. The director is different from the pervious movie, Francis Lawrence that replaced Gary Ross of previous sequence of the “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”.

The screenplay of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is written by Beaufoy and Michael deBruyn. They efficiently refine the novel to the prerequisites of Katniss and Peeta’s winning round of the hunger games. The story starts when the Quarter Quell that puts final winners against each other in the hunger games.

Directing of Mr. Lawrence gave a sturdier and less over-romantic theme to the “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”. Katniss is more communicative than previous movie of Hunger Games. The actress does not seem to be undefined in this sequel.

 “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is not an outstanding work of art but it has an exciting shots and provides with better facets that more famous movies cannot present. Everything in this movies is in right moment and right place with the right people. The movie and the novel of “The Hunger Games” hints that the myth is shifting. It shows the new hero Katniss who battles her own life.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is rated PG-13 by including murders and mayhem. Parents strongly cautioned.
