David Lowery wrote and directed Ain't them Bodies Saints movie. This American romantic drama intertwined with crime was released on January 19 2013 at Sundance Film Festival for the first time. The movie focuses on the criminal who escapes from jail and settles beyond Texas hills. He wants to see his wife and his daughter he has not even met. Casey Affleck plays Bob Muldoon and Rooney Mara plays Ruth Guthrie.

At Sundance Film Festival in 2013, the movie debuted and won the award for the best Cinematography in the U.S. Dramatic Category. It was also nominated for Grand Jury Prize, but unfortunately, it did not win. Ain't them Bodies Saints was nominated for International Critics' Week category at the Cannes Festival 2013. In theatres, the movie was released on August 16 2013.

Infamous criminal called Bob Muldoon escapes from prison in order to rejoin with his family, his wife, and daughter. Muldoon and his wife Ruth Guthrie were hiding from the authorities when their criminal journey suddenly ceased. Ruth Guthrie shot and wounded an officer and Muldoon took all the responsibility for that. He was sentenced to prison. After spending some time in prison, he cannot stand being away from his wife and daughter so he gathers enough courage to escape. He loves his family more than anything in the world and wants to spend his life with them at any cost.

Ain't them Bodies Saints movie has received positive critics in majority and the average ranking according to different reviews are 7 out of 10. Most of the critics consider a movie socially accepted in the plot. This poetic movie avows great things from David Lowery, the director. Other cast are Ben Foster, Keith Carradine, Rami Malek, Nate Parke, and Charles Baker. This amazing movie lasts for 96 minutes.
